If you are regularly receiving Junk Mail from Labor Law Poster Vendors, you need to read this blog.

There is absolutely no such thing as a government agency who sends you junk mail to sell you labor law posters. The letter may look official (that’s a gimmick — It is from a private owned company with an official sounding name). The letter claims there are changes — what they don’t tell you is the nature of the change – (blue ink instead of black — that’s a change. OR off-white paper instead of white paper — that’s a change. OR reprint it 3 months later with a new revision date — that’s a change. OR call it the 2007 copy instead of the 2006 copy — that’s a change).

The bottom line is, up to 90% of all CHANGES are trivial changes that do not affect the rights of employees and therefore, BY LAW, you do not have to post it.

If you are inclined and have the time you may navigate the various government agency websites in all state to determine changes (there are about 300 of them) and if you do this you can obtain free downloads ——–Of course, if you are like me you consider your time worth money and you realize the so-called free downloads are not free after all.

Your time spent x your hourly pay + the headache of maintaining the data is not free. Because it is tedious to keep up with the changes (sorting official changes from trivial non-required changes), many people will sort through the junk mail searching for the most official looking, best priced junk mail.

Still — they may be purchasing unnecessary posters. Wasting money.

You have more important things to do than sorting through junk mail trying to determine which labor law poster vendor is not lieing to you or at least —- who is lieing to you but charging the lesser price.

The easiest thing to do is to IGNORE junk mail labor law poster vendors. You are only required to update your labor law posters when a change affects the rights of employees.

Further, you may FREELY determine when was the last change you are required to post in any given state. Then, you may update your Federal and State Labor Law Posters at a Wholesome Wholesale Group Rate Discount.
